Central Carolina Technical College Signs Transfer Agreement with Southern New Hampshire University

Sumter, SC (09/21/2020) — Central Carolina Technical College (CCTC) and Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) have announced a new partnership and articulation agreement that provides direct transfer opportunities between the two institutions, in the spirit of academic cooperation.

Through the agreement, CCTC graduates will be able to transfer up to 90 credits to be applied to their bachelor's degree at SNHU, a nonprofit, accredited institution that offers approximately 200-degree programs, many of which are available online.

"Central Carolina Technical College is excited to partner with SNHU in providing multiple pathways for CCTC students to further their education," said Jason Tisdel, Dean, General Education, CCTC. "Through this collaborative effort, students have excellent educational opportunities."

Through the partnership, SNHU guarantees transferability of all eligible credits earned in the following CCTC associate degree programs to the corresponding SNHU bachelor's degree:

A.A. Degree to B.A. General Studies - Online

A.A.S. Accounting to B.S. Accounting - Online

A.A.S. Computer Technology to B.A. Information Technologies - Online

A.A.S. Computer Technology to B.A. Cybersecurity - Online

A.A.S. Environmental Engineering Technology to B.S. Environmental Science - Online

A.A.S. Human Services to B.A. Human Services - Online

A.A.S. Management to B.S. Business Administration - Online

A.A.S. Natural Resource Management to B.S. Environmental Science - Online

A.A.S. Nursing to B.S. Nursing - Online

A.S. Degree to B.A. General Studies - Online

Based on the agreement, CCTC alumni, employees and immediate family members of employees -spouses, domestic partners, children, siblings and parents - will receive a 10 percent tuition reduction for SNHU's online programs. If they enroll in an SNHU graduate program, they will also receive an application fee waiver.

"Through this new partnership, thousands of learners will have the opportunity to seamlessly transfer their credits to SNHU and continue on their educational journey."
