Central Carolina Technical College President Announces Retirement

Sumter, SC (04/03/2025) — Central Carolina Technical College (CCTC) President Dr. Kevin Pollock has announced his retirement, effective June 30, 2025. President Pollock shared his decision during a Special Called Area Commission meeting, expressing gratitude for his tenure at CCTC and confidence in the college's future.

"It has been a privilege and honor to serve as President of Central Carolina Technical College for the past four and a half years," Dr. Pollock said. "My years here have been incredibly rewarding, and I am grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such an amazing Titan community."

As the college prepares for this transition, Dr. Pollock remains committed to ensuring a smooth handover to the next leader. The CCTC Area Commission is thoughtfully determining the next steps in the presidential search process and will share updates as they become available.
