Central Carolina Technical College Area Commission Welcomes Willie Mae Muldrow

Bishopville, SC (04/04/2022) — The Central Carolina Technical College Area Commission recently named Willie Mae Muldrow of Lee County as a new member to its governing board.

Muldrow, of Bishopville, is a graduate of Benedict College. She retired from the Lee County School District and has also served as City Councilwoman for the Bishopville City Council. In addition, she served as a member of the Lee County Adult Education Advisory Committee, Lee County Chamber of Commerce, Lee County Crime Stoppers, National Council of Negro Women and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).

The CCTC Area Commission is comprised of 12 voting community leaders from the college's service area of Clarendon, Kershaw, Lee and Sumter counties appointed by the Legislative Delegation. As the governing body of the college, the CCTC Area Commission is responsible for the development and operation of Central Carolina and the standards set forth by the State Board for Technical and Comprehensive Education.
